The week language at the vocational school of BUGEY

From Monday 17th to Friday May 22th, the students lived in the heart of Europe.

They created a post-it wall with words in different languages

They created a world map to show their country of origin

They took pictures about the topic "together"

During the all week, teachers and students  worked on South america in geography and history, scientific inventions throughout the world, food in different countries, blind-tests and quizz about different languages.

The headmaster made an opening and closing speech. Everybody had a snack together with a food speciality on Friday.

Etwinning project between our vocational High School, Belley, France and the I.I.S Carlo Denina, Saluzzo, Italy

Italian and French students will speak English during this project and they will work together on a movie trailer. Eventually, we hope to create a true and strong bond between our schools and maybe one day, we’ll visit each other, who knows..?!

Poland invited at the Bugey Vocational High School

On Fridays November 15 (2019) and February 15 (2020), our Polish friend, Yoland HUTMACHER, taught our Erasmus students as well as us, teachers, all about Poland: its customs & habits, its food specialties, its langage, and everything we had to know as we will go to this beautiful country!

Very interesting afternoon and our pupils are longing for their trip and of course, their work placement, in WARSAW.

CONTEST: YOUR EUROPE, YOUR SAY! 2020

Link to the event: https://www.eesc.europa.eu/fr/agenda/our-events/events/your-europe-your-say-2020

Our subscribtion: We are a newly opened "european section" vocational high school which is newly enrolled in an Erasmus + KA1 project and we would like to show our pupils the greatness of travelling, exchanging with people from different countries and the open-mindedness it can bring to them. Our school's Erasmus Days event has been a true success with all of our 200 pupils and with all our teachers, so we would like to go deeper into the knowledge of our European Union and what it has to offer. Furthermore, we are also enrolled in an environmental area project so it could be a way to lift it at an international level, which is what we are seeking with our european section and Erasmus project as well.
